DPDP Act (2023) Aligned Transparency Notice
This policy has been designed to provide clear, transparent, and parent-friendly explanations of our data practices, child safety commitments, and school operations in alignment with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
* Note for School Administration: This policy document is aligned with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act); have it reviewed by a qualified legal professional before official publication.
At Fateh Excellence Preschool & Daycare, child safety is our highest and non-negotiable priority. Every child in our care deserves a joyous, loving, hygienic, and thoroughly protective environment in which to explore, play, and learn.
This document outlines both our physical child safeguarding protocols at our Sector 15, Kalamboli campus, and our Photo & Video Media Policy, ensuring complete transparency and parental control over how visual media of children is handled.
Our Child Safety Commitment
Under the leadership of Principal Mrs. Navjeet Kaur, Fateh Excellence maintains an uncompromising culture of child protection. We follow child-first educational ethics aligned with Indian national early childhood care guidelines and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023:
Child-Safe Environment
Hygienic & child-proof campus

Close individual supervision
Monitored Premises
Common areas & daycares
Photography & Video Core Principles
Photographs and short video clips of school activities (such as annual day celebrations, sports days, festivals, art workshops, and sensory play) celebrate the wonderful moments of childhood. However, they are published strictly under the following mandatory rules:
- Prior Written Parental Consent: Photographs or videos of enrolled children are taken and published ONLY when the parent or legal guardian has provided explicit written consent in the admission documentation or online registration form.
- Respect for Parental Choice: Parents have the complete, unconditional freedom to opt out of digital photography or social media publication without any impact on their child's preschool enrollment, care, or academic standing.
- Dignity & Positivity: Media captures only respectful, joyful, and group activity moments. Children who appear distressed, unwell, or inappropriately attired are never photographed.
- Official School Cameras Only: Media is recorded exclusively on school-authorized devices by designated staff members. Personal devices of visitors or third parties are strictly forbidden from photographing children on campus.
Protection of Child Identity & Anonymity
Strict Anti-Identification Rule
To prevent digital stalking, profiling, or unauthorized identification of children, NO child's full name, family surname, home address, parent contact number, or precise location shall ever be published alongside any photograph or video clip on our website or social media channels.
Captions on our gallery and social media posts describe only the event, activity theme, or grade cohort (e.g., "Playgroup sensory water day" or "Our little artists exploring finger painting in Nursery").
Withdrawal of Media Consent & Removal SLA
Parents or legal guardians may withdraw media consent at any point in time, even if they had previously agreed.
Media Removal Procedure:
- Send an email to fatehexcellence.edu@gmail.com with the subject "Media Removal Request - [Child's Name]".
- Include a screenshot or link to the specific website page or social media post.
- Our Commitment Timeline: The school will blur or permanently take down the requested photograph or video clip within 5 business days from receipt of your request.
